Hyderabad, Feb 6 (NationPress) Authorities in Hyderabad have initiated yet another legal case against 'Bigg Boss-Season 8' participant and renowned Radio Jockey Shekhar Basha. This action follows a complaint filed by a woman assistant choreographer, who claims to have been a victim of sexual misconduct by Tollywood choreographer Jani Master.
The new case was officially recorded at the Narsingi Police Station under the Cyberabad Police Commissionerate based on the allegations made by the 22-year-old woman.
According to her complaint, Basha is accused of recording her conversations with others and engaging in acts that tarnished her reputation.
The complainant also indicated that Basha possesses audio recordings pertinent to an ongoing trial. She accused him of collaborating with Jani Master and others to further her harassment.
The police have initiated an investigation against Basha for offending the modesty of a woman.
This complainant had previously lodged a sexual assault report against Jani Master, which resulted in his arrest last September. He was later granted bail by the Telangana High Court a month afterward.
This marks the second legal case against Shekhar Basha within just three days. On Tuesday, a separate complaint was filed against him at the same station by another woman alleging harassment.
The complainant, via her attorney, accused Basha and YouTuber Mastan Sai of conspiring to frame her in a drug-related incident.
Last September, Basha was held by the Hyderabad cybercrime police for making unsubstantiated and defamatory claims against a woman, who was a victim of Harsha Sai's alleged sexual assault.
Harsha Sai, known for his viral charitable videos, was charged following a report by an actress who alleged he had taken nude photographs and videos of her, using them to extort money.
In related news, the Narsingi Police have ramped up their investigation into YouTuber Mastan Sai, who reportedly recorded intimate videos of women for blackmail purposes. He was recently arrested following a complaint from actress Lavanya, who claimed Mastan had private footage of her and other women intended for coercive use.
The police have also applied multiple provisions of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act against Mastan Sai and his associate Khaja after both tested positive for MDMA.
A video purportedly showing a drug party attended by Mastan Sai and others has emerged, and police are expected to issue notices to individuals featured in the footage.
