Mumbai, Feb 11 (NationPress) The Maharashtra government on Tuesday executed a bureaucratic reshuffle, transferring the state Sugar Commissioner Kunal Khemnar to the position of Joint Chief Executive Officer at the Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation.
Additionally, the Sangli district Collector Mantada Raja Dayanidhi has been reassigned as the Joint Managing Director of the City and Industrial Development Corporation.
The government has also appointed Ashok Kakde, the Managing Director of SARATHI (Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Research Training and Human Development Institute), to serve as the new Sangli District Collector.
Furthermore, Anmol Sagar, the Chief Executive Officer of the Latur Zilla Parishad, has been transferred to become the Commissioner of Bhiwandi Nizampur Municipal Corporation.
Earlier, on February 4, the Maharashtra government had carried out transfers for 13 IAS officers.
Among the notable appointments, Pravin Darade, an IAS officer from the 1998 batch, was made Principal Secretary for the Co-operation, Marketing and Textile Department.
Pankaj Kumar, from the 2002 batch, was designated as Secretary and Special Enquiry Officer (2) for the General Administration Department.
Nitin Patil, an IAS of the 2007 batch, took on the role of Commissioner for Skill Development, Employment and Entrepreneurship, while Shweta Singhal, of the 2009 batch, transitioned from Secretary to the Governor to Divisional Commissioner for the Amravati Division.
Dr. Prashant Narnaware, another IAS from the 2009 batch, was moved from Secretary and Special Enquiry Officer (2) to Secretary to the Governor.
Anil Bhandari, an IAS from the 2010 batch, was shifted from Joint Chief Executive Officer of MIDC to Director of Information Technology.
PK Dange, who is from the 2011 batch and serves as Commissioner of Skill Development, Employment and Entrepreneurship, has been appointed Secretary of the State Human Rights Commission.
Moreover, S Ramamoorthy, from the 2013 batch and currently Secretary of the Fee Regulatory Authority, was appointed Deputy Secretary to the Governor.
Abhijit Raut, another IAS from the 2013 batch, transitioned from Collector, Nanded to Joint Commissioner, State Tax at Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar.
Milindkumar Salwe, also from the 2013 batch, was shifted from Joint Commissioner, State Tax, Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar to Commissioner, Minority Development in the same region.
Rahul Kardile, an IAS from the 2015 batch, has moved from Joint Managing Director, CIDCO to Collector, Nanded.
Madhavi Sardeshmukh, also of the 2015 batch, has been reassigned from Chief Executive Officer of Smart City, Kalyan-Dombivali to Director, Vocational Education and Training.
Amit Ranjan, an IAS from the 2022 batch, was promoted from Assistant Collector, Charmoshi Sub Division, Gadchiroli to Project Officer, ITDP, Pandharkawada and Assistant Collector, Kelapur Sub Division, Yavatmal.
Earlier, on January 28, the state government had also transferred eight IAS officers.
