Bhopal, Feb 23 (NationPress) Prime Minister Narendra Modi indirectly criticized opposition leaders on Sunday, accusing them of mocking and ridiculing Hindu religion, faith, and beliefs, all with the support of foreign powers.
While addressing a large crowd in Garha village of Chhatarpur, Madhya Pradesh, the Prime Minister stated that these leaders, who disdain Hinduism while residing in India, are enslaved by a colonized mindset and consistently attack Indian culture, traditions, festivals, and progressive philosophy.
“Currently, some leaders are deriding and belittling religion. They are actively working to sow discord among the populace. Furthermore, outside influences often support these individuals, aiming to weaken the nation’s unity and religious foundations,” the Prime Minister remarked.
PM Modi noted that animosity towards the Hindu faith has existed in various forms throughout history.
“Those who have fallen victim to a servile mindset consistently target our faith, beliefs, and sacred sites. They undermine our religion, culture, and core values, disparaging our festivals, traditions, and customs,” he asserted.
The Prime Minister stated that these individuals boldly attack the Hindu religion and culture, which is inherently progressive, intending to fracture our society and disrupt its unity.
PM Modi was in Garha village on Sunday to conduct the Bhoomi Poojan (groundbreaking ceremony) for the Bageshwar Dham Medical and Science Research Institute, which is being built with an investment of Rs 200 crore on a 10-acre plot of land.
Referring to Dhirendra Shastri, the chief priest of Bageshwar Dham, as his younger brother, the Prime Minister commended him for advocating the message of unity and praised his dedication to establishing the Bageshwar Dham medical facility, which will now offer both medical and spiritual healing at no additional cost.
The Prime Minister emphasized that serving all living beings is a vital part of Hindu tradition and highlighted that the Bageshwar Dham Center of Spirituality has now evolved into a hub of good health, treatment, and care for everyone.
PM Modi mentioned that the center will provide “Bhajan, Bhojan, and Nirogi Kaya” (Food, spirituality, and good health) at Bageshwar Dham.
Regarding the ongoing Maha Kumbh at Prayagraj, PM Modi described it as a symbol of unity, occurring after 144 years and expected to transmit its message to future generations.
He lauded the efforts of the police, sanitation workers, and medical professionals who have been delivering exceptional services to visitors at the Maha Kumbh, labeling the event as ‘Ekta Ka Maha Kumbh’ (Maha Kumbh of Unity).
PM Modi reiterated his commitment to reducing healthcare costs for all citizens, which were excessive before his government assumed power in 2014.
He emphasized his promise to substantially decrease medical expenses for citizens and declared that the Union government would distribute Ayushman cards to all eligible individuals, covering up to Rs 5 lakh in treatment costs.
Moreover, he reiterated that any Ayushman cardholder aged 70 or older is now entitled to free treatment up to Rs 5 lakh.
PM Modi encouraged everyone to acquire the Ayushman card promptly and urged individuals to contact him directly if anyone solicits a bribe for issuing the Ayushman card.
He also prompted citizens to stay informed about various welfare schemes and services provided by the central government and to raise awareness of initiatives like the Ayushman card within society.
PM Modi conveyed that he would revisit Garha village once the medical facility is completed and would also take part in the 'Barat' procession of Dhirendra Shastri of Bageshwar Dham.
