In her post, she stated, 'A friend arranged for me to have a numerology reading, and I discovered I’m in a nine-year cycle, which signifies a time of completions and endings. I encountered several profound lessons surrounding the conclusion of certain chapters. This year has involved numerous goodbyes and enlightening realizations that have led to closures,' according to People magazine.
She elaborated, 'The numerologist provided insights that helped me understand that this year was fundamentally about endings. Some of these endings have been quite painful, accompanied by significant changes and adjustments. I've learned to release my grip on certain aspects and truly embrace the art of letting go. Additionally, I’ve come to recognize that everything unfolds for our highest good, even in moments of discomfort.'

The video is titled, 'This year I let go of,' followed by a list of eight things she has released in 2024. The first item is 'the phase of life where everyone is always under one roof,' accompanied by a photo of Paltrow dining with her children, Apple Martin, 20, and Moses Martin, 18.
Additional items on her list include 'our home,' 'some very cherished colleagues,' 'Los Angeles,' and 'a dog,' the latter of which she illustrated with a picture of herself lounging next to her pet canine, Nero.
