Mumbai, April 24 (NationPress) Renowned Telugu film actor Nani, who is eagerly anticipating the release of the third chapter of the ‘HIT’ series, has officially confirmed that he is in discussions with director Cibi Chakaravarthi for an upcoming project.

Nani recently shared this update during an interaction with IANS. However, he chose not to disclose the film's title or further specifics, indicating that they are currently in the early stages of discussions.

When queried about the veracity of the rumors regarding the project discussions, Nani responded to IANS, “This isn’t just a rumor. We have been having conversations, and there are three or four other projects in the pipeline that have been under discussion for quite some time. But we are unsure about which will materialize first.”

The actor also discussed ‘HIT: The Third Case’, which he is producing and in which he plays the lead role. In this film, he will portray the character of SP Arjun Sarkaar, advancing from his cameo appearance in the second installment to a primary role.

When asked about balancing his duties as a producer and an actor, Nani explained that during filming, he completely sets aside his producer hat and focuses solely on the creative responsibilities of being an actor.

He stated, “I believe the producer side of me was practically nonexistent during ‘HIT: The Third Case’. I don’t operate that way. While I initiated this series, I always instruct my team to provide whatever is necessary for the film. However, I didn’t invest much thought as a producer. I simply decided to proceed with this film and whatever it requires, I’ll support them with.”

“My team informs me about accomplishments, like closing deals with Netflix or other distribution agreements, and I just sign off on it. I do not overthink it, as I am more inclined towards the creative side of the process, which is what I truly enjoy while acting or being creatively involved. Fortunately, I have an excellent team managing the logistics,” he added.

‘HIT: The Third Case’ is set to hit theaters on May 1.
