Mumbai, March 12 (NationPress) Actor Randeep Hooda, who will portray a sinister character named Ranatunga in the action-thriller “Jaat”, mentioned that although he has embodied dark and complex roles in the past, this character is simply “pure evil”.
While discussing his role as Ranatunga in “Jaat”, Randeep expressed: “I’ve played dark and layered characters before, but Ranatunga is pure evil. He’s violent, unhinged, and operates with a kind of brutality that even shocked me while performing it.”
The actor highlighted that “Jaat”, which also features Sunny Deol, immerses audiences into a realm of raw, unapologetic crime.
“My character occupies the eye of that storm. I believe our director Gopichand Malineni had a crystal-clear vision for this character, and I fully embraced what he envisioned for the role,” he noted.
On March 10, Randeep unveiled his look from the film. He took to Instagram to share a teaser video introducing his character. The clip begins with the actor at a police station.
