Mumbai, April 24 (NationPress) The highly anticipated streaming series ‘Sarpanch Sahab’, produced by actor and humanitarian Sonu Sood along with Sonali Sood, is scheduled to premiere on OTT platforms on April 30.
This 7-part series, directed by Shahid Khan, who also co-produces, features talents like Vineet Kumar, Sunita Rajwar, Pankaj Jha, Anuj Singh Dhaka, Yukti Kapoor, Neeraj Sood, and Vijay Pandey, all of whom deliver compelling performances that vividly depict the narrative.
Set in the fictional village of Rampura, the plot revolves around Sanju, a recent college graduate who becomes embroiled in the complex world of local politics under the dominion of the powerful and corrupt village leader, Mahendra Singh. Initially captivated by the lure of power and prestige, Sanju's life takes a turn as he faces tragedy, betrayal, and disillusionment, prompting him to reevaluate everything he once held dear.
