Bengaluru, Feb 12 (NationPress) The U.S. Air Force Band of the Pacific’s ensemble, Final Approach, has arrived in Bengaluru to showcase their talents at Aero India 2025, the leading aerospace and defence exhibition, and to strengthen U.S.-India relations through the universal medium of music, as stated by the U.S. Consulate.

This 10-member group will also collaborate with skilled Indian musicians in workshops to impart their musical knowledge.

The U.S. Air Force Band of the Pacific is scheduled to perform at Aero India on February 13-14. The ensemble previously held a rock concert at the Christ University auditorium on Campus Road in Bengaluru.

U.S. Air Force Senior Airman Brian Ellerman expressed: “Performing in Bengaluru is an incredible experience. The energy and enthusiasm of the audience are overwhelming. We look forward to engaging with young audiences in Bengaluru through workshops and performing at Aero India during the public days to highlight the achievements of the arts in America. We are honoured to be part of this celebration of U.S.-India partnership.”

The Final Approach ensemble delivers captivating performances in pop and rock music and consists of: TSgt David Dormeus (keys), SSgt Christopher Thompson (audio engineer), SrA Brian Ellerman (drums), SSgt Michael Horrigan (bass), MSgt Lencys Esteban Nunez (saxophone), SrA Jessie Dunnavant (vocals), TSgt Benjamin Huseby (vocals/guitar), SSgt Ryu Yamakawa (guitar), SrA Kai Hammond (saxophone), and SrA Henry Gergen (trumpet).

The United States stands as one of the largest international exhibitors at Aero India 2025, showcasing prominent American aerospace and defence companies that present cutting-edge aircraft, advanced avionics, unmanned systems, space technologies, and innovative defence solutions. Throughout the event, U.S. government and industry participants will emphasize and encourage technology sharing, joint ventures, and industrial partnerships that bolster the U.S.-India Major Defence Partnership.

During the opening, Chargé d’Affaires Andrews stated: “President Donald Trump and Prime Minister Narendra Modi have discussed the importance of enhancing defence trade between our nations. I am pleased to announce that, from small start-ups to robust defence public sector undertakings and the expanding private defence sector, bilateral defence trade is deepening.”

He further noted, “The U.S. defence industry has shown its dedication to partnering with India to supply top-quality, technologically advanced defence equipment and systems that are regarded as the most operationally reliable globally.”
