Srinagar, April 24 (NationPress) The J&K Police has declared a reward of Rs 20 lakh for any individual who can provide information that aids in the capture of Pakistani nationals and local Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorists implicated in the Pahalgam terror incident.
A police announcement noted, “Anantnag Police is offering Rs 20 lakhs for information leading to the apprehension of the Pakistani nationals and LeT terrorists Adil Hussain Thoker, Ali Bhai, and Hashim Musa, who were involved in the attack on tourists in Baisaran, Pahalgam on April 22.”
The assault resulted in the deaths of 26 civilians, including 25 tourists and one local individual, in the scenic Baisaran meadow on April 22.
Currently, three operations are underway in the union territory, alongside a significant anti-terror operation in the Pahalgam region aimed at locating and apprehending the terrorists responsible for the massacre.
The operation at Baisaran meadow is being supported by technology, utilizing drones, helicopters, electronic devices, and sniffer dogs. Security forces have received explicit directives to track down the individuals who took the lives of 26 civilians.
Tragically, a soldier lost his life during an ongoing encounter with the terrorists in the Basantgarh area of Udhampur district.
