Mahakumbh Nagar, Dec 22 (NationPress) The local government is making every effort to ensure that Mahakumbh 2025 is both comfortable and memorable. As part of a recent initiative to maintain cleanliness and hygiene at the fairgrounds, the Health Department has implemented special measures to provide an experience free from mosquitoes and flies during the event.

An innovative system has been launched, utilizing automatic mist blower machines that can effectively eliminate mosquitoes and flies within 30 minutes of receiving a request from any area within the Mahakumbh site. This system guarantees a rapid response, ensuring a clean and healthy environment for all attendees.

Significant measures have also been taken to maintain a clean and insect-free atmosphere in the akharas and the large tent city. A total of 110 advanced blower mist machines and 107 mini-fogging units will be deployed throughout the location. These modern devices are anticipated to improve the overall ambiance at the camps, providing a peaceful and healthy environment during this grand religious event.

As stated by Dr. V.P. Singh, Nodal Joint Director (Vector Control) for Mahakumbh, insecticide spraying will be conducted across the venue to maintain a hygienic setting. To further improve the experience for devotees, 62 pulse fogging machines have been obtained.

Moreover, 78 special officers will be assigned to ensure the safety and welfare of both saints and pilgrims during the event. Malaria inspectors will be present throughout the fairgrounds to address any concerns raised by attendees. These inspectors will visit each akhara, engage with saints, and swiftly resolve any issues related to mosquitoes and flies, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for everyone.

To facilitate a seamless experience for pilgrims, 45 malaria inspectors are scheduled for deployment, along with 28 assistant malaria inspectors tasked with overseeing the safety of both saints and devotees.

Additionally, five District Malaria Officers (DMOs) will be stationed separately to tackle any challenges and maintain uninterrupted services throughout the grand event.
