Bhopal, Feb 23 (NationPress) The visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Bhopal is drawing considerable political focus, as he prepares for over two hours of discussions with prominent party officials, Members of Parliament, and state Assembly legislators this Sunday.

Party representatives have indicated that the Prime Minister will engage in talks with senior leaders over dinner at the Kushabhau Thakre Convention Center in Bhopal on Sunday evening.

While insiders have kept the agenda under wraps, this meeting represents the first occasion that Prime Minister Modi will spend the night in the state and hold prolonged dialogues with party leaders.

He is scheduled to stay overnight at Raj Bhavan (Governor's House) on February 23, and on February 24, he will inaugurate the eighth edition of the Global Investors' Summit 2025.

The official schedule reveals that the Prime Minister will travel to Bageshwar Dham in Garha village, Chhatarpur district by helicopter, with an anticipated arrival at Khajuraho Airport around 1 p.m.

During his time in Garha village, he will dedicate about an hour to laying the foundation stone for the Bageshwar Dham Medical and Science Research Institute at approximately 2 p.m. This facility aims to provide free medical treatment to disadvantaged cancer patients from diverse backgrounds.

The cancer hospital, with an investment exceeding Rs 200 crore, will feature cutting-edge equipment and specialized doctors.

A government announcement states that delegates from 60 countries will join the summit, highlighting new greenfield and brownfield opportunities available in the state.

"A total of ten sector-specific and seven departmental sessions will be organized to address technical matters, illustrating how participants can utilize these facilities. Key focus sectors include pharma, medical devices, renewable energy, power, mining, micro, small and medium enterprises, urban development, textiles, automotive, skill development, information technology, logistics, and transportation. Diplomats from nations such as Japan, Germany, Australia, Peru, Argentina, Panama, Mexico, Rwanda, Uganda, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Poland, Taiwan, Sri Lanka, Brazil, Myanmar, Haiti, South Korea, Romania, Uzbekistan, and South Africa will be in attendance at the summit," stated a government spokesperson.
