Patna, Feb 5 (NationPress) The Chief Minister of Bihar, Nitish Kumar, is set to visit Munger as part of his ongoing 'Pragati Yatra', which involves touring various districts throughout the state to assess development initiatives.

In preparation for his arrival, extensive security measures have been implemented, especially in the Maoist-affected area of Rishikund.

Security personnel, including Sashatra Seema Bal, Special Task Force, and Central Reserve Police Force, have been deployed in Munger to guarantee the Chief Minister's protection.

A comprehensive search operation is ongoing in the forested regions of Rishikund, with drone technology being utilized for surveillance. Combing operations are also in effect to secure the area ahead of the Chief Minister's visit.

Officials report that the security measures are so rigorous that not even a bird can approach the designated zones. During his stay, CM Nitish is expected to lay the foundation stone and inaugurate several development projects, amounting to crores of rupees, that will benefit the residents of Munger.
