Patna, April 24 (NationPress) In his initial address following the heinous terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir's Pahalgam, Prime Minister Narendra Modi delivered a resolute and clear message to the assailants of the violence, declaring that India will chase them to the "ends of the Earth" and that terrorism will face consequences.

Addressing a large gathering in Madhubani, Bihar, on National Panchayati Raj Day, the Prime Minister denounced the "cowardly" attack that resulted in the deaths of 26 civilians, primarily tourists. He urged the audience to observe a two-minute silence to honor the victims.

"From the soil of Bihar, I want to convey to the world -- India will identify, trace, and penalize every terrorist and their supporters," PM Modi asserted.

"We will pursue them to the ends of the Earth. India's spirit will remain unyielded by terrorism. Terrorism will not go unpunished. Every possible effort will be made to achieve justice. The nation stands united in this commitment. All who cherish humanity are with us," he stated.

Referring to the attack as an affront to "India's very essence," the Prime Minister remarked, "The brutal murder of innocent individuals in Pahalgam has profoundly saddened the nation. From Kargil to Kanyakumari, all of India mourns."

He emotionally reflected on the diversity of the victims, mentioning, "In this terrorist act, some lost their sons, others lost brothers, and some lost their life partners. Some of the victims communicated in Bangla, others in Kannada, Marathi, Odia, Gujarati, and Bihari. From Kargil to Kanyakumari, we all share in the grief for them."

Reaffirming his government's dedication to delivering justice, he stated, "Those who executed this terror attack and those who orchestrated it will face a punishment beyond their imagination. We will ensure they are punished."

The Prime Minister also expressed gratitude towards nations that extended their support to India following the terror attack, which was carried out by The Resistance Front, a Pakistan-based group associated with Lashkar-e-Taiba.

This attack has prompted a series of strong diplomatic and strategic responses from India, including the suspension of the Indus Waters Treaty, expulsion of Pakistani military attaches, closure of the Attari-Wagah border, and cancellation of the SAARC Visa Exemption Scheme for Pakistani nationals.
