Agartala, April 27 (NationPress) The Chief Minister of Tripura, Manik Saha, expressed on Sunday that the remarks made by Prime Minister Narendra Modi consistently echo the essence of seva and the effort of nation-building. He noted that Modi's vision serves as a source of motivation for many.
After tuning into PM Modi's 121st episode of ‘Mann Ki Baat’ with residents of Kamalghat in the Bamutia Assembly Constituency of West Tripura district, Saha remarked that the public eagerly anticipates each episode of the program.
“I also participate in it, not only in Agartala but throughout various regions of the state. We look forward to hearing PM Modi's insights. In today's episode, PM Modi extended his condolences for the innocent lives lost due to terrorism in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir,” Saha mentioned.
He went on to explain that PM Modi elaborated on the circumstances surrounding the terrorist attack. “We have witnessed how terrorism has plagued Jammu and Kashmir, primarily due to financial instability. However, following the abrogation of Article 370, peace was restored, tourism flourished, and the local economy improved. The people experienced relief from terrorism, leading to the formation of a stable government. Those who were once unemployed were manipulated into stone-pelting. Fortunately, Jammu and Kashmir is now overcoming these challenges,” the Chief Minister conveyed, quoting the PM.
“The terrorists, struggling with a shortage of manpower, orchestrated a conspiracy that led to the deaths of approximately 26 individuals.” PM Modi also emphasized the significant advancements in space science, Saha added. He highlighted the importance of understanding the country's status before 2014 compared to now.
“Everyone recalls the incidents of 2014, such as the Parliament attack, the Taj Hotel attack, and terrorism in northeastern India. However, after 2014, the situation has transformed dramatically. Thanks to the Act East Policy, PM Modi has introduced the HIRA model (Highway, Internet, Railways, and Airways). Now, there is enhanced stability in the nation. PM Modi consistently brings to light unknown facts that previously went unnoticed, and with the power of technology, we can now uncover them. Through ‘Mann Ki Baat’, PM Modi aims to connect with the populace,” Saha concluded.
In tribute to Mother Nature and as part of the 'Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam' initiative, Saha planted a Lotus sapling at Kamalghat School, together with the community of Bamutia Assembly Constituency.
