Jaipur, 24 April (NationPress) The Chief Minister of Rajasthan, Bhajan Lal Sharma, announced on Thursday that a comprehensive strategy has been established in the 2025-26 Budget aimed at transforming Rajasthan.

“This comprehensive strategy is designed to evolve Rajasthan into a self-sufficient, thriving, and development-centric state. The budget incorporates specific allocations for the advancement of all 200 assembly constituencies. Officials are required to take full accountability and work with determination to implement these initiatives within the designated timeframe, ensuring the vision of Aapno Agrani Rajasthan materializes,” stated the Chief Minister during the meeting.

Sharma also performed a thorough evaluation of various budget announcements, offering essential directives to relevant officials.

He emphasized the necessity of consistent follow-up and supervision to guarantee that the intended advantages of public welfare schemes reach the final beneficiaries.

All departments were instructed to provide regular progress updates to the Chief Minister's Office (CMO) and maintain ongoing communication to assure timely execution.

In highlighting the state’s inaugural Green Budget, the Chief Minister noted that it would mark a significant advancement towards environmental preservation.

Experts from both the public and private sectors will conduct a green audit. He also commended the achievements of the Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam initiative, which saw millions of saplings planted across the state, and urged the Forest Department to enhance public awareness for ecological sustainability.

Sharma declared that under the Lakhpati Didi Yojana, 20 lakh women would be economically empowered as part of the Rajivika Mission.

He called for the Cooperative Department and Rajivika to collaborate closely to ensure fortified cooperative banks and improved economic prospects for women.

Reiterating the administration’s dedication to Ayushman Rajasthan, the Chief Minister reviewed health department initiatives, including the establishment of daycare centers and diabetes clinics in every district hospital.

He urged officials to accelerate their implementation. He also assessed the progress on the opening of Annapurna Bhandars at 5,000 fair price shops, instructing the Food and Civil Supplies Department to work with Rajivika to enhance the marketing and sale of their products.

Sharma called for the formulation of a clear action plan for each budgetary declaration. Departments were directed to meticulously monitor progress and submit regular updates. He also issued stern warnings to departments that were falling behind schedule, urging them to hasten their efforts and ensure continuous oversight.
