Bengaluru, April 30 (NationPress) The Leader of the Opposition in Karnataka's Legislative Council, Chalavadi Narayanaswamy, has publicly condemned Chief Minister Siddaramaiah for his supposed involvement in the MUDA case. He suggested that the Chief Minister may also be looking for land in Pakistan.

“It seems that Siddaramaiah might now be on the lookout for land in Pakistan, beyond just the Mysuru Urban Development Authority (MUDA). His words have become reckless, revealing whatever crosses his mind,” Narayanaswamy remarked, responding to the Chief Minister’s assertion of ‘no war with Pakistan’.

He further derided the Congress party, asserting that their leaders appear to enjoy greater popularity in Pakistan than in India.

“Perhaps Congress leaders should consider running for elections in Pakistan from now on,” he quipped.

Siddaramaiah is currently under scrutiny from both the Enforcement Directorate (ED) and the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) regarding the MUDA case due to alleged unlawful site allotments.

Narayanaswamy claimed that Siddaramaiah showed signs of being “angry” when Mahila Morcha members displayed black garments during a protest in Belagavi.

“Siddaramaiah even called a senior police official to the stage and attempted to strike him. Why didn’t he exhibit the same fury when 26 Indians were killed in the Pahalgam terrorist attack in Kashmir?” he questioned.

He further alleged that there is a growing wave of “public anger” against the Congress across the nation.

“Even members of Congress have acknowledged that the party is fading from the political landscape. If they possess strength, why was their X post removed? It was deleted out of fear. Congress leaders are cowards,” he claimed.

He accused Congress leaders of having posted a derogatory message on social media suggesting that the Prime Minister’s head should “disappear”.

“This demonstrates that Congress lacks leadership. What can a headless Congress accomplish? Some individuals lack heads, some have heads but are devoid of brains, and others have brains but no connection between their thoughts and their words,” he asserted.
