Los Angeles, Jan 19 (NationPress) Hollywood star Cameron Diaz, who has made her return to the screen in 'Back in Action' after a decade-long break, is receptive to the idea of participating in the follow-up to 'The Mask'.

The actress first portrayed Tina Carlyle in the 1994 superhero comedy and expressed she would gladly reprise the role, provided Jim Carrey agrees to return as Stanley Ipkiss and his iconic alter ego, according to reports from Female First UK.

When inquired about a possible sequel, she shared with Access Hollywood, "If Jim's on board, I mean, I've been riding those coattails from day one".

According to Female First UK, the actress also expressed enthusiasm about collaborating on another 'Charlie's Angels' film alongside Lucy Liu and Drew Barrymore.

She commented, "It would be wonderful. It would be truly wonderful". Her co-star from 'Back in Action', Jamie Foxx, mentioned his willingness to join the cast as John, a character originally played by Bill Murray in the 2000 film.

Cameron responded, "I'm going to text (Lucy) right now and pitch her Jamie as Bosley". Last month, Dumb and Dumber star Jim revealed that he would be interested in making a sequel to 'The Mask' if approached with a compelling storyline.

He told Comicbook.com, "Oh gosh, you know, it has to be the right idea. If somebody had the right idea, I guess… It’s not really about the money. I joke about the money… But I never know. You can’t be definite about these things. I said I’d like to retire, but I think I was talking more about power-resting. Because as soon as a good idea comes your way, or a group of people that you really enjoyed working with and stuff, it just — things tend to change".

Meanwhile, the 'Holiday' actress has recently declared she will never star in another rom-com.
