New Delhi, Jan 11 (NationPress) The ICC Men’s Champions Trophy 2025 Trophy Tour has successfully concluded its dynamic Australian segment. The forthcoming ninth edition of this prestigious tournament is slated to occur in Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates from February 19 to March 9.
Throughout this lively tour, the trophy graced iconic sites in Melbourne and Sydney, captivating fans with a range of engaging activities and appearances by cricketing legends.
The Australian leg provided an opportunity for fans and media to connect with former Australian all-rounder and two-time ICC Champions Trophy champion Shane Watson, who shared insights on the unique aspects of the event and offered his predictions for the upcoming tournament.
The trophy was prominently featured during the Border–Gavaskar Trophy, making notable appearances at the fourth and fifth Tests in Melbourne and Sydney, where former cricket stars such as Irfan Pathan, Adam Gilchrist, Michael Vaughan, and Justin Langer posed alongside the trophy.
In Melbourne, the trophy was showcased at several landmark locations, including the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG), Flinders Street, Yarra River, and Hosier Lane.
After its Melbourne visit, the tour progressed to Sydney, where fans had the chance to see the trophy at Bondi Beach, Sydney Harbour, Sydney Opera House, and the renowned Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG).
