Los Angeles, March 15 (NationPress) Actress Brenda Song had to instruct her fiancé, Macaulay Culkin, on how to manage laundry since he was raised in hotels.

The 44-year-old actor, who became a household name at the age of 10 for his role as Kevin McCallister in 'Home Alone', spent his formative years living in hotels. Song was taken aback by his lack of experience with household chores within their shared space.

During an appearance on 'The Jennifer Hudson Show', she remarked: "Mac is a very unique human. As the most recognized child actor globally, he lived and grew up in hotels. He simply had never done laundry. It’s amusing teaching him this skill."

Macaulay, who shares sons Dakota and Carson with Song, only recently learned to drive, but the 36-year-old actress eventually ceased her efforts to teach him.

Brenda shared: "He still doesn’t know how to drive," as reported by femalefirst.co.uk.

"I took him out for a drive in our neighborhood – I was terrified. A 44-year-old man driving for the first time? I thought, 'Nope!'"

The former star of 'Suite Life of Zack and Cody' revealed that she and her partner connected over their experiences with childhood stardom.

She explained to The Times: "He was the most famous child actor in the world, so our perspectives on being child actors are quite different. Yet, there is a profound understanding between us, more so than just dating another actor. We comprehend the grind. I truly believe this is why we get along so well."

The 'Running Point' actress noted that neither she nor Culkin anticipated a romantic relationship when they first met in 2017 while collaborating on 'Changeland'.

She reminisced: "When we met, neither of us was looking for a relationship. We had plenty of downtime just hanging out, and I thought, is he going to be my set BFF? Awesome! Then I developed a crush on him and wondered if he would be my first fling. When we returned to LA, I literally said, 'See you never!' But that fling somehow evolved into eight years and two kids together."
