Karnataka Faces Hardships Amid Congress' Late-Night Negotiations: BY Vijayendra
Bengaluru, Jan 11 (NationPress) Karnataka BJP President B. Y. Vijayendra condemned the Siddaramaiah administration for focusing on their late-night meetings regarding power-sharing, which has left the public in distress.

Bengaluru, Jan 11 (NationPress) The Karnataka BJP President, B. Y. Vijayendra, criticized the Siddaramaiah administration on Saturday, highlighting that its leaders are preoccupied with their late-night negotiations over power-sharing while the populace is left in distress.

During a special gathering of the BJP Legal Cell in Bengaluru, Vijayendra stated, “Certain members within the ruling Congress perceive CM Siddaramaiah as an outsider. He previously held the Chief Minister position for five years, and now, after two years into his second term, conversations are emerging within the Congress about him potentially stepping aside.”

“Around 25 years ago, the then Chief Minister chose not to include Shivakumar in the cabinet. At that time, his mentor is said to have remarked, 'If power isn’t granted, take it'. Following that, Shivakumar managed to seize control. Now, after Siddaramaiah's two-year tenure as CM, Shivakumar seems to be revisiting the 'snatch power' approach,” the state BJP leader elaborated.

“On one hand, CM Siddaramaiah appears reluctant to give up power even after his term, while on the other hand, Shivakumar, known for his late-night habits, has initiated meetings during the late hours, as ministers loyal to CM Siddaramaiah are hosting dinners in his absence. This situation mirrors the current political landscape,” he continued.

He mocked the Congress, asserting that the party's internal agreements focus on power-sharing rather than development.

In his critique of the government’s management, he remarked, “Due to the government’s negligence, there has been a troubling increase in maternal and newborn fatalities in state-run hospitals. Corruption has reached unprecedented levels, and even after two years of this administration, tangible development is absent.”

Vijayendra charged Siddaramaiah and Shivakumar with limiting their travels to Bengaluru, neglecting other parts of the state.

“They are harassing opposition figures and filing cases against Hindu activists who oppose anti-Hindu policies. This cannot be classified as a democratic system,” Vijayendra asserted.

He emphasized that supporting BJP members and Hindu activists is the Legal Cell’s foremost focus, which is why this meeting was convened.

State Legal Cell Coordinator Vasanthkumar provided insights into the cell's initiatives, while State Convenor S. Dattatri, Co-Convenor N.V. Phaneesh, Joint Coordinator Lakshman C. Kulkarni, committee member Vishwanath, along with other officials and district representatives attended the meeting.
