Chennai, Jan 11 (NationPress) In a groundbreaking development for Tamil cinema, the team of the eagerly awaited film 'Aghathiyaa' has rolled out a game featuring the film's characters.
The filmmakers asserted that this marks the first instance in Tamil cinema where a game has been developed based on a motion picture's characters and narrative.
This fantasy-adventure game, spotlighting the Angels and Devils of Aghathiyaa, will animate the exhilarating storyline in an interactive format suitable for players of all ages.
The Aghathiyaa game invites players to dive into the film's universe and forge a deeper connection with its characters.
Aneesh Arjun Dev, co-producer and the creative force behind the gaming project, stated, “The game has been crafted
with simplicity at its core, ensuring that even novice players can enjoy it with ease. Featuring characters inspired by Jiiva and Arjun as Angels, and Edward and his cohorts as Devils, this game is poised to resonate with the younger demographic while raising awareness about the film’s distinctive narrative.”
Lead actor Jiiva expressed his enthusiasm regarding the game's launch. “It’s a remarkable experience to see myself represented in a game. As a gaming enthusiast, this feels surreal. I am confident this initiative will effectively introduce Aghathiyaa to younger audiences, igniting their interest in the film.”
The film’s leading actress, Raashii Khanna, commented, “This is an inventive way to market a film. By connecting with millennials and Gen Z through gaming, we are exploring a new and engaging form of entertainment. I’m excited to be involved in something so innovative.”
Additionally, the production house has unveiled the second single from the film. This particular track holds special significance, as it is a creation from the legendary Isaignani Ilaiyaraja. The timeless classic En Iniya Pon Nilave has been beautifully reimagined by Yuvan Shankar Raja.

The film is set for a pan-India premiere on January 31 this year.
