Chennai, Jan 7 (NationPress) Actor Ajith Kumar, who is preparing to compete in the upcoming Dubai 24 hours car race, commonly referred to as the 24H Dubai 2025, experienced a fortunate escape today following a crash during a practice session in Dubai.
The actor, who leads his racing team Ajith Kumar Racing, is set to compete in the highly competitive Porsche 992 class alongside his teammates Mathieu Detry, Fabian Duffieux, and Cameron McLeod at the 24H Dubai 2025.
A video shared by the actor's racing team depicted the moment his car collided during the practice session, with the actor emerging uninjured, much to the relief of his fans and film enthusiasts.
In the video shared on their X timeline, the racing organization stated, "Ajith Kumar’s dramatic crash in practice, but he walks away unscathed. Just another day in the office … that’s racing!"
Earlier, Ajith Kumar Racing had announced that the first practice session for the 24H Dubai would take place today. The team also released footage of Ajith inspecting the race track in Dubai, along with images of him meeting with other drivers to strategize.
The 24H Dubai 2025 is particularly significant for the actor as it represents his firm’s first competitive appearance in the racing arena. It will also kick off a rigorous endurance campaign for the team, which has partnered with Bas Koeten Racing for technical and logistical support.
Recently, Ajith traveled to Singapore with his family to celebrate the New Year and his daughter Anoushka’s birthday, returning to Chennai with them on January 5. While his family headed home, Ajith remained at the airport to catch a flight to Dubai, where he is set to race in the 24H Dubai 2025.
