Mumbai, Jan 5 (NationPress) Actor Aniruddh Dave, who portrays the character of police officer Dushyant Thakur in the web-series “Thukra Ke Mera Pyar”, mentioned that he recognized the character's potential, which motivated him to accept the role.
Aniruddh stated: "The way the series has been embraced by viewers makes me very happy. The series is penned by Kamal Pandey, who crafted it beautifully, and he was the one who approached me for the role of Dushyant. I saw real potential in this character, which led me to take it on."
He believes the audience's appreciation for the series stems from its uniqueness and freshness, as it delves into themes of career aspirations, college experiences, and the dreams of the youth.
“This genre is certainly my favorite, as the narrative centers around a UPSC aspirant who finds love. What I adore most about Dushyant is that he is lovable, fearless, and relatable to me.”
This isn't Aniruddh's first portrayal of a police officer; he has previously played a similar role in the television series Patiala Babes.
“Even after many years in acting, I always approach a role with a fresh perspective. Honestly, donning the uniform brings a fantastic feeling, and I exercise great care to portray it with complete honesty,” he remarked.
For this particular character, the actor focused on maintaining a specific body language.
“I have worked on my dialect, as it differs from my usual speech. Collaborating with Sanchita in the series was a delightful experience. I have some memorable scenes with her, and I am pleased with the audience's reception.”
Aniruddh also reflects on his experience in Chandu Champion, which holds a special place in his memory.
“After Chandu, the industry recognizes me by my name, and I couldn’t ask for more. I envision myself involved in larger and more significant projects in 2025. I am particularly excited about web content, as I am an actor who constantly seeks meaningful roles and good stories; my craft is invaluable to me.”
The show is directed by Shraddha Pasi and features Dhaval Thakur and Sanchita Basu in leading roles.
