Chennai, Feb 11 (NationPress) Actor Arun Vijay has hailed Dhanush as a true multi-tasker while collaborating with him on their upcoming project 'Idly Kadai'. He expressed his admiration for the various facets of Dhanush's artistry and his maturity in directing.
During the audio launch of Nilavukku Ennadi Enmel Kobam (NEEK), another film helmed by Dhanush, Arun Vijay recounted, “Dhanush shared the trailer of NEEK with me while I was filming 'Idly Kadai'. I instantly recognized that this film would resonate with the youth. Now, after the trailer's release, it's clear everyone is buzzing about it.”
Elaborating on Dhanush's abilities, Arun Vijay mentioned, “I've witnessed firsthand that Dhanush is a multi-tasker. He wraps up a shot and then dives into scriptwriting. When I inquired about his task, he replied, ‘Just working on a script.’”
Arun Vijay further illustrated Dhanush's comprehensive involvement in filmmaking: “One day, I unexpectedly found music director G V Prakash in his caravan. Dhanush was recording vocals for a song composed by G V Prakash! His dedication is truly inspiring. While he believes I inspire him, I feel he is the real inspiration.”
Arun Vijay also remarked on Dhanush's many facets.
“After watching Raayan, I aspired to work on a film directed by him. Fortunately, I am now collaborating with him on Idly Kadai. Dhanush is an exceptional individual and director. His maturity and diverse talents are astounding,” he stated.
Although Dhanush was absent from the audio launch due to shooting commitments, Arun Vijay noted that Dhanush's spirit would still be present.
“I firmly believe that NEEK will make a significant impact. My brother Dhanush is busy shooting a song today. Up until last night, I was also filming. Now, I’ve come here while his song shoot continues. But his heart will be with us,” Arun Vijay shared.
Directed by Dhanush, Nilavukku Ennadi Enmel Kobam features a talented cast including Pavish, Anikha Surendran, Priya Prakash Varrier, Matthew Thomas, Venkatesh Menon, Rabiya Khatoon, and Ramya Ranganathan.
Produced by Dhanush's parents, Kasthoori Raja and Vijayalakshmi Kasthoori Raja, under the banner of Wunderbar Films, the film features music by G V Prakash Kumar, cinematography by Leon Britto, and editing by G K Prasanna.
Notably, Priya Prakash Warrier will make her Tamil debut in this film, while Dhanush will appear as a guest in a song. Additionally, actress Priyanka Arul Mohan will also make a guest appearance in a song titled Golden Sparrow.
