Mumbai, February 11 (NationPress) In celebration of Safer Internet Day, Bollywood star Ayushmann Khurrana collaborates with UNICEF India to promote awareness regarding online safety.

On his Instagram account, the 'Bala' actor released a video where he engages with a group of children to gain insights into the digital landscape. He is also seen participating in fun and educational games with the children, emphasizing the significance of digital safety and raising consciousness about keeping kids safe online.

In the post, Ayushmann noted, “It’s #SaferInternetDay, and I’ve partnered with UNICEF India to connect with this wonderful group of children and learn more about the online environment. Let’s discover their thoughts….”

Discussing the necessity for a safer internet, Khurrana stated, “Nowadays, individuals across all age groups, from children as young as 5-6 years to older adults, are utilizing the internet for convenience. In such circumstances, it is crucial to educate young first-time internet users about the dangers they may encounter and how to stay safe online. This year, for Safer Internet Day, I visited an NGO named PRATYeK with UNICEF, where I learned alongside the children about essential internet safety rules.”

“On this Safer Internet Day, in collaboration with UNICEF, I aim to raise awareness about online safety and responsible digital behavior. It’s vital to empower young individuals with the means to report any discomfort or threats, enabling them to safeguard themselves and others online. Additionally, parents should maintain an open dialogue with their children to identify any issues they might be facing on the internet. By engaging safely online, we can collectively transform the internet into a platform that uplifts everyone,” the 'Dream Girl 2' actor remarked.

On the professional front, Ayushmann is set to appear in the forthcoming horror-comedy 'Thama', where he will take on the role of a vampire. The film, featuring Rashmika Mandanna, Paresh Rawal, and Nawazuddin Siddiqui, is slated for release on November 17, 2025, during Diwali.
