Chennai, Feb 22 (NationPress) The much-anticipated film Mr X, directed by Manu Anand, is an action thriller that delves into the spy world, as disclosed by the film’s producer, Lakshman Kumar.
On Saturday, the film's creators unveiled the first look poster, showcasing a stellar cast including Arya, Gautham Karthik, Manju Warrier, Sarathkumar, Anagha, Athulya, Raiza Wilson, and Kaali Venkat, among others.
In an exclusive interview with IANS, Lakshman Kumar shared, “Mr X draws inspiration from several real-life events. Specifically, it is based on five genuine threats to our nation that were successfully neutralized by intelligence agencies.”
The film has been shot over a span of 100 days across various locations in India, with some scenes filmed in Azerbaijan, according to the producer.
“We have filmed extensively throughout the country, including Rajasthan, Hosur, Chennai, Mysore, and Tuticorin. While we initially considered shooting some sequences in Uganda, we ultimately decided to film those parts in Azerbaijan,” he added.
The film is shaping up well and is expected to premiere in the next two months.
Directed by Manu Anand, known for his successful film FIR, Mr X features music composed by Dhibu Ninan Thomas and cinematography by Arul Vincent.
Manu Anand took to social media to share the first look poster, stating, “With utmost humility and gratitude, here is the first official poster of Mr X. The game begins. #MrX - Teaser from TODAY.”
The film’s editing is handled by Prasanna G K, with stunts choreographed by Stunt Silva and art direction managed by Indulal Kaveed.
