Mumbai, Feb 2 (NationPress) Actress Genelia Deshmukh, who was recently featured in ‘Trial Period’, is thrilled about her Pickleball team, Pune United, clinching the championship in the latest season of the World Pickleball League.
The actress co-owns the team alongside her husband, Riteish Deshmukh. The official Pune United page posted a celebratory image from the finals on Instagram.
In the caption, they expressed, “Being proud doesn’t even begin to convey our feelings. In the most challenging and competitive moments, this team has consistently stepped up—when it counted, we poured our hearts into it, and we emerged victorious. Previously, Genelia shared her inspiring weight loss journey. She took to Instagram Stories to post a video of her strength training in the gym, celebrating her progress while wishing her trainer a happy birthday.
She started at 59.4 kg in the first week of her training, dropped to 58.2 kg in the second week, and reached 57.2 kg in the third week.
