Chennai, Feb 1 (NationPress) The production team behind director Prathap’s much-anticipated comedy family drama Baby And Baby, starring actor Jai in the lead role, has officially unveiled both the audio and trailer for the film. They also confirmed that the movie will hit theaters on February 14 of this year.
During the audio launch event, director Prathap, who is stepping into the director's chair for the first time, remarked, "This film will be a blend of comedy and family drama. Viewers can expect to laugh and enjoy themselves throughout the entire two-and-a-half-hour runtime."
The director further revealed that actor Jai, who portrays the main character, completed the entire film while observing Ramzan fasts. "Jai committed 25 days to this project, and throughout this time, he refrained from eating three meals a day. While most would lose their temper under such circumstances, Jai was incredibly cooperative and supportive, helping us finish the shoot as planned,” he said.
Notably, acclaimed director Venkat Prabhu promoted the trailer on his social media platforms. In a post on X, he expressed, “Prepare for a delightful family experience! The trailer hints at a storyline that centers on two couples and their claims over the infants they believe to be their children. It kicks off with Sathyaraj declaring that no member of his family should leave the village until the child is placed in a golden cradle. The trailer guarantees a wealth of humor, particularly as Jai’s character discovers that instead of a boy, they have a girl. Redin Kingsly portrays an undercover cop in this project, which also stars comedians Sriman, Anandraj, Ilavarasu, and Singampuli in significant roles.
