The film “Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari” stars Varun Dhawan alongside Janhvi Kapoor in leading roles, with Sanya Malhotra, Rohit Saraf, Abhinav Sharma, Maniesh Paul, and Manini Chadha also playing significant parts.
Directed by Shashank Khaitan, the movie is produced collaboratively by Karan Johar, Hiroo Yash Johar, Apoorva Mehta, and Shashank Khaitan.
Additionally, Janhvi is set to appear in “Param Sundari”, a cross-cultural romance film scheduled for theatrical release on July 25.
This production from Maddock Films, directed by Tushar Jalota of “Dasvi” fame, revolves around a love story between a North Indian character played by Sidharth and a South Indian girl, filmed in the picturesque setting of Kerala.
The film features Sidharth Malhotra and promises a heartfelt narrative where two different worlds meet, filled with laughter, chaos, and surprising twists, as described by Maddock, according to reports from variety.com.
“It’s reminiscent of the films of Mani-sir (Mani Ratnam), like ‘Saathiya’ (the Hindi remake of the Tamil drama-romance film “Alai Payuthey”),” stated Maddock chief Dinesh Vijan in an interview with Variety.
“With its unique music and Janhvi portraying a South Indian character opposite Sid’s Northern Delhi boy, the conflict is quite engaging. We’re stepping into an intriguing narrative space,” he added.
