Mumbai, Jan 5 (NationPress) Actor Kabir Duhan Singh, recognized for his role in the Malayalam film ‘Marco’, shared that embodying the formidable character Cyrus significantly impacted him, with meditation serving as his lifeline during this challenging transition.

Mumbai, Jan 5 (NationPress) Actor Kabir Duhan Singh, known for his performance in the Malayalam film ‘Marco’, revealed that portraying the intimidating character Cyrus greatly influenced him, and that meditation became his cornerstone throughout this arduous transformation.

Reflecting on his journey and the mental toll of playing Cyrus, Kabir expressed, “The recognition I've received for Marco has been long-awaited, and the overwhelming response has solidified my identity as a Pan-India actor.”

He mentioned that taking on the role of Cyrus was an exceptionally daunting experience, noting that it was distinct from any dark character he had portrayed before.

“The film's intense scenes, including the murder of a pregnant woman, pushed me to my limits. This character is arguably the most brutal villain in Indian cinema, and bringing it to life was far from easy. It wasn't just a matter of switching on and off; meditation became my anchor throughout this difficult transformation.”

Concerning “Marco”, an action thriller, it is written and directed by Haneef Adeni. The film features Unni Mukundan in the title role, along with Siddique, Jagadish, Abhimanyu S Thilakan, Anson Paul, and Yukti Thareja in supporting roles.

“Marco” narrates the story of Adattu, one of the most prestigious gold-trading families in Kerala. A shocking incident disrupts the Adattu family. George, the family patriarch, embarks on a quest to uncover the truth and identify those responsible. Simultaneously, his younger brother, Marco, sets out on a similar journey but takes a different path.

Kabir has appeared in films across Telugu, Kannada, Tamil, and Malayalam languages. He began his career in 2015 with the Telugu film Jil, launching his journey as an antagonist in that industry. One of his remarkable roles as a villain is seen in the 2016 film Sardaar Gabbar Singh.

Additionally, he has featured in a Bollywood film “Khaali Peeli” released in 2020. This masala film, directed by Maqbool Khan, stars Ishaan Khatter, Ananya Panday, and Jaideep Ahlawat.
