Mumbai, Feb 23 (NationPress) The anticipated movie ‘Superboys of Malegaon’, produced by Zoya Akhtar and her brother Farhan Akhtar, narrates a captivating tale of a man who motivated a modest film industry in the charming town of Malegaon, located in northern Maharashtra.
Nasir Sheikh, the individual who inspired the film, shared his sincere thoughts with director Reema Kagti. He conveyed that she not only celebrated his life and that of his friends, some of whom have passed away, but also encapsulated the spirit of Malegaon itself.
Nasir commended the filmmakers for authentically portraying his journey, stating, “This film wouldn’t have materialized without Zoya ji, Reema ji, and Varun ji. The entire team has done total justice to my narrative.”
He reminisced about his film being showcased at international film festivals, mentioning, “At TIFF, 2,000 attendees came to view the film, and the feedback was overwhelming.
