You are adopting the principles of innovation, collaboration, and elevation, driving progress with purpose. Beyond establishing boardroom relationships, you are actively strengthening the strategic alliance between India and France."

Furthermore, he noted that India and France enjoy deep trust and common values, saying, "India and France are not just united by democratic values. Deep trust, innovation, and serving the populace are the cornerstones of our friendship. Our relationship transcends our two nations. Together, we are addressing global challenges."

PM Modi also co-chaired the AI Action Summit alongside French President Emmanuel Macron.

The week-long summit concluded with a high-level segment attended by global leaders, policymakers, and industry experts, showcasing the increasing collaboration between India and France in technology and innovation.

On Tuesday, Prime Minister Modi mentioned that the G20 had reached a consensus on responsibly harnessing AI for all during India's presidency.

The Prime Minister noted that India is at the forefront of AI adoption and techno-legal solutions for data privacy. He added that India boasts the largest AI talent pool.

"India has effectively constructed a digital public infrastructure for over 1.4 billion individuals at a minimal cost. It is designed around an open and accessible network. It includes regulations and a diverse range of applications aimed at modernizing our economy, reforming governance, and transforming the lives of our citizens…Today, India stands at the forefront of AI adoption and techno-legal solutions concerning data privacy…We possess one of the world’s largest AI talent pools," stated PM Modi.

"We are on the brink of the AI era that will influence the direction of humanity," he added.

Emphasizing the shared partnership between India and France, he noted that the two nations have collaborated for years through initiatives like the International Solar Alliance to leverage solar energy.

"India and France have collaborated for years through initiatives like the International Solar Alliance to harness solar power. As we advance our partnership in AI, it represents a natural evolution from sustainability to innovation, aiming to create a smarter and more responsible future. At the same time, sustainable AI encompasses more than just utilizing clean energy. AI models must also demonstrate efficiency and sustainability in size, data requirements, and resource utilization. After all, the human brain can compose poetry and design spacecraft using less energy than most light bulbs," PM Modi remarked.

The Prime Minister mentioned that India is developing its own large language model due to its diversity. He stressed that India is prepared to share its experience and knowledge to ensure the AI future benefits everyone.

"We also have a distinctive public-private partnership model for resource pooling, such as computing power. It is accessible to our startups and researchers at an affordable price. India is ready to share its experience and expertise to ensure that the AI future is beneficial for all…Some individuals fear machines surpassing humans in intelligence. However, no one holds the key to our collective future and shared destiny other than us humans. That sense of responsibility must guide our actions," PM Modi concluded.
