Jaipur, April 28 (NationPress) The President of Rajasthan BJP, Madan Rathore, has taken aim at Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, accusing him of offending the sentiments of the Hindu community.

Rathore expressed his discontent over Kharge's recent remarks, where he likened his name to "Jyotirlinga Mallikarjuna," one of the esteemed 12 Jyotirlingas.

"On one hand, Kharge shows dissatisfaction when Mallikarjuna is mentioned in Parliament, yet on the other, he claims to be linked to the Jyotirlingam in public forums. This kind of hypocrisy will not be accepted by the Hindu society," he stated.

The BJP State President further criticized Congress's "Save Constitution Yatra," labeling it as a mere political stunt.

"The very Congress that enforced Emergency and violated the Constitution now pretends to defend it for the sake of vote-bank politics. Similar tampering occurred during the Shah Bano case for appeasement purposes," he added.

"The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Prime Minister Narendra Modi are the only ones who have upheld the respect for Baba Saheb Ambedkar and the Constitution. From the development of Baba Saheb's Panch Teerth Sthals to awarding him the Bharat Ratna, the BJP has honored his legacy, unlike Congress, which plotted against him," Rathore mentioned.

State Education Minister Madan Dilawar also condemned Congress, stating, "Congress has undermined democracy by dismissing elected governments 93 times previously. During the Emergency, Congress created an environment where 'whatever Indira Gandhi says was the Constitution.' Now, the party that shredded the Constitution is conducting a 'Samvidhan Yatra'—that is the irony."

Minister Dilawar stressed that the present struggle is not about preserving the Constitution, but rather about safeguarding the existence of the Gandhi family.

"Kharge claims that the Gandhi family hasn't held power for 30 years, which is due to the people's rejection. Prime Minister Narendra Modi holds a special place in the hearts of the populace. The Congress's Yatra is merely a desperate move to protect the Gandhi family, not the Constitution," he asserted.

"It's amusing that I was accused of Kharge ji's murder," Dilawar said, mocking Congress's attempts to alter the political narrative.

State Parliamentary Affairs Minister Jogaram Patel remarked that Congress leaders, who themselves showed no respect for the Constitution, have no right to advocate for its protection.

"Rahul Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi are out on bail. The Congress is misleading the nation to shield the Gandhi family. Filled with negativity, Congress leaders cannot think or speak positively. They remain trapped in the grip of one family," he stated.

Patel also pointed out the economic advancements under the current BJP-led NDA government.

"Today, India ranks among the world's top five economies under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's stewardship. In contrast, during the UPA era, the country was considered among the weakest economies. While the UPA government was rocked by 2G scams, today we have successfully launched 5G services. Investment, employment, development, and entrepreneurship are now the focal points," he concluded.
