BJP Takes Disciplinary Action Against Indore Corporator Jitu Yadav
Bhopal, Jan 11 (NationPress) A disciplinary action has led to the expulsion of Jitu Yadav, an Indore corporator, from the BJP's primary membership for a duration of six years due to a violent incident.

Bhopal, Jan 11 (NationPress) Following a confrontation between two BJP corporators from Indore, one of them has been expelled from the party's primary membership for six years as a result of disciplinary measures implemented on Saturday.

The BJP found itself in a challenging situation and faced criticism due to the altercation involving two of its leaders -- Kamlesh Kalra and Jitu Yadav.

Both individuals serve as sitting councillors in the Indore Municipal Corporation (IMC).

Recently, Kamlesh Kalra accused the aides of his fellow corporator Jitu Yadav of invading his home, humiliating his teenage son, and behaving inappropriately towards his wife in front of his 70-year-old mother.

Kalra, who belongs to the Sindhi community and is among the most dedicated BJP supporters in Indore, claimed that the entire occurrence, which was recorded by the alleged offenders and subsequently spread online, was orchestrated at the direction of Yadav.

Kalra also filed a complaint against Yadav at an Indore police station, insisting that Yadav and his aides should be prosecuted for this incident.

In his statements to the media, he expressed that he might resort to taking his own life if no action was taken against Yadav.

Sources reveal that Kalra submitted a letter to the BJP's Madhya Pradesh unit head V. D. Sharma, requesting intervention and action against Yadav.

The issue was presented to the BJP's state disciplinary committee.

A notification issued by State General Secretary Bhagwandas Sabnani (MLA from Dakshin-Paschim Assembly constituency in Bhopal) on Saturday stated, "Corporator from Indore Municipal Corporation's ward no. 24, Jitendra Kumar (Jitu Yadav) engaged in a dispute with a party fellow. The subsequent inappropriate actions have harmed the party’s reputation, which falls under the category of indiscipline."

As a result, Corporator Jitendra alias Jitu Yadav has been expelled from the BJP's primary membership for a period of six years.

This decision came within 24 hours after Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav mandated action against those involved in the incident.

On Friday, Chief Minister Yadav condemned the event, announcing that the police have filed an FIR and identified nine suspects by reviewing CCTV footage and interviewing others, with six suspects already arrested.
