The threats were sent via email, leading school administrations to notify both the district authorities and the police.

"The threats included intentions to detonate RDX and were sent from Chennai. The two schools involved are Digamber Public School, situated on Khandwa Road, and Indore Public School," stated Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police Rajesh Dandotia.

He further explained that upon being alerted, law enforcement teams along with bomb disposal units were dispatched to both schools.

"Following this, both educational facilities were evacuated, and a thorough inspection was conducted, but no explosives were discovered at this time," he noted, mentioning that the email claimed RDX had been placed within both premises.

"Some sections of the email were also composed in the Tamil language," Dandotia added.

During the inspection, Digamber Public School, which also facilitates a law degree college, was in the midst of conducting examinations. A group of NSUI students participated in the evacuation.
