New Delhi, Feb 6 (NationPress) In the escalating competition to create advanced artificial intelligence (AI) systems, Google has declared that the enhanced Gemini 2.0 AI will be made widely accessible to everyone.

Developers are now equipped to construct production applications utilizing Gemini 2.0 Flash. Furthermore, the company is unveiling an experimental iteration of Gemini 2.0 Pro, which is its top-performing model for coding tasks and intricate prompts.

This model can be accessed through Google AI Studio and Vertex AI, as well as in the Gemini app for users with Gemini Advanced.

“We are introducing a new model, Gemini 2.0 Flash-Lite, our most economical model to date, in public preview within Google AI Studio and Vertex AI. Additionally, 2.0 Flash Thinking Experimental will be available to users of the Gemini app in the model dropdown on both desktop and mobile,” stated Koray Kavukcuoglu, CTO of Google DeepMind, representing the Gemini team.

Google emphasized that as the capabilities of the Gemini model family expand, it will persist in investing in strong mechanisms to ensure safe and secure usage.

“We are also employing automated red teaming to evaluate safety and security vulnerabilities, including those stemming from indirect prompt injection, a form of cybersecurity threat that involves attackers embedding harmful instructions in data that an AI system is likely to access,” the company mentioned.

In December, the company initiated the agentic era by launching an experimental version of Gemini 2.0 Flash.

All these models will support multimodal input with text output upon release, with additional modalities anticipated to be available to the public in the upcoming months.

The experimental version of Gemini 2.0 Pro boasts the highest coding efficiency and the capacity to manage complex prompts, demonstrating improved comprehension and reasoning concerning worldly knowledge.

“It features our largest context window at 2 million tokens, allowing it to thoroughly analyze and comprehend extensive information, as well as the capability to utilize tools like Google Search and execute code,” the company revealed.
