Mumbai, Feb 6 (NationPress) Actor Imran Khan was spotted at the exclusive premiere of the anticipated film 'Loveyapa', featuring Junaid Khan and Khushi Kapoor. Both actors are representatives of the next wave of Bollywood talent.

Junaid is the offspring of renowned Bollywood icon Aamir Khan, while Khushi is the child of esteemed producer Boney Kapoor.

Previously, Imran attended the wedding of Aamir’s daughter, Ira Khan, last year. Following a break from acting, he is currently concentrating on his ventures in business.

On another note, 'Loveyapa' explores themes of contemporary romance and delivers a touching narrative filled with memorable performances, vibrant music, and stunning visuals. The film is scheduled for release on February 7, 2025.

This marks the second film for both Junaid and Khushi, who previously made their acting debuts in Netflix projects 'Maharaj' and 'The Archies'.

'Maharaj' is inspired by the life of journalist and social reformer Karsandas Mulji. A student of Elphinstone College in Mumbai, Karsandas Mulji, portrayed by Aamir Khan’s son Junaid, was a disciple of the scholar-leader Dadabhai Naoroji. He was actively involved with the Gujarati Gnanprasarak Mandalli (Gujarati Society for the Spread of Knowledge) and had close ties with notable Gujarati reformists like poet Narmad and educator Mahipatram Neelkanth.

Mulji advocated for widow remarriage, women’s education, curtailing extravagant weddings, and critiqued indecent wedding songs and traditional mourning practices. His efforts led to significant social reforms, and he was a strong voice against societal injustices.

Among his numerous writings, the notable article titled ‘Hinduo No Asli Dharam Ane Atyar Na Pakhandi Mato’ (The Primitive Religion of the Hindus and the Present Heterodox Opinions), published on September 21, 1890 in 'Satyaprakash', criticized Vaishnava Archaryas (Hindu religious leaders) for their conduct. This led to the Maharaj Libel Case in 1862, which serves as the backdrop for the Netflix film.

In addition, Junaid Khan has another film lined up alongside Sai Pallavi.
