The two children, 7-year-old Dharamjeet and 6-year-old Vikas Kumar, were located by the police in different locations and taken to the Khoya-Paya Kendra. Their images were shared on digital platforms and television screens to ensure swift communication with their families.

Upon learning the news, the families rushed to the center. Following the identification process, the children were safely returned to their mother in the presence of law enforcement.

This event transpired on January 15. Both children were brought to the Lost and Found Center from the Jhunsi area, where they confirmed their home as Chainpur.

The Digital Mahakumbh Khoya-Paya Kendra exemplifies the effective governance under Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and the application of modern technology for the benefit of the public.

Approximately 10 Khoya-Paya Kendra have been established across the fairgrounds to maximize the reach and effectiveness of this initiative. This center is vital in reuniting lost people, especially children, with their families during the grand Mahakumbh festival.

The government has prioritized not only the technological advancement of the Khoya-Paya Kendra but also emphasized rapid processing, human compassion, and transparency. Devotees attending the Mahakumbh have expressed their gratitude for this initiative.

The center provides relief to affected families while also fulfilling the government’s duty toward the safety of pilgrims and their families visiting the sacred town.

The digital centers are instrumental in helping locate missing children, mobile phones, wallets, and other belongings.

These ten centers are strategically positioned in ten sectors. To further assist pilgrims, inquiry centers have been established throughout the fairgrounds.
