New Delhi, Feb 5 (NationPress) The Leader of Opposition (LoP) Rahul Gandhi expressed his profound sorrow regarding the passing of Aga Khan, a renowned billionaire philanthropist and spiritual leader of the Ismaili Shia Muslims.
The 88-year-old Prince Karim Al-Hussaini, commonly referred to as Aga Khan IV, died in Lisbon, Portugal on February 4.
Gandhi took to his social media account on X to convey his grief over the loss of this visionary leader, also sending his sincere condolences to the Aga Khan's family.
“I am deeply saddened by the passing of His Highness the Aga Khan, Mawlana Shah Karim Al-Hussaini -- a visionary leader deeply committed to humanity, education, and progress,” he stated in a post.
