Ahmedabad, March 15 (NationPress) The fourth edition of 'Vande Ayucon 2025', a conference focusing on the Ayurvedic medical system, is scheduled to take place this Sunday in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. During this event, esteemed Ayurvedic practitioners from the state will be honored.
An Out Patient Department (OPD) software will be provided to all Ayurvedic physicians participating in the AYUCON, organized by the Gujarat Ayurvedic and Unani Medical System Board.
Additionally, Ayurvedic doctors attending this initiative will receive valuable guidance.

Notably, Jamnagar in Gujarat has emerged as a pivotal hub for Ayurveda, witnessing significant advancements in the production of Ayurvedic medicines.
Sanjay Jivrajani, Chairman of the Gujarat Ayurvedic and Unani Medical System Board, stated that from 2014 to 2025, numerous developments have been observed in the Ayurvedic field in the state.
"Our goal is to integrate Ayurveda with society. Previously, there were only nine Ayurvedic colleges in Gujarat; now, there are 42 Ayurvedic colleges producing highly skilled Ayurveda professionals. It's encouraging to see their innovative ideas."
He noted that while only 300 Ayurvedic doctors were trained in Gujarat in 2014, the annual training now encompasses around 3,000 Ayurvedic doctors.
The societal perspective towards Ayurveda has shifted, with growing interest. The recognition of Ayurveda has now achieved a global stature, Jivrajani added.
