Bhopal, Feb 21 (NationPress) Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to convene with all Members of Parliament (MPs) and Members of the Legislative Assembly (MLAs) of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) from Madhya Pradesh, along with state organizational leaders, during his forthcoming visit to Bhopal on February 23.
The BJP's Madhya Pradesh unit president and Khajuraho Lok Sabha MP, V.D. Sharma, announced on Friday that PM Modi is anticipated to arrive in the city on the evening of February 23.
Following his arrival, the Prime Minister will meet with BJP officials at the Kushabhau Thakre auditorium.
Sharma expressed gratitude towards PM Modi for allocating his valuable time for Madhya Pradesh, stating, "All MPs and BJP MLAs, along with organizational leaders, will have the opportunity to engage with PM Modi," during a media briefing after assessing preparations at the venue.
PM Modi will first arrive in Bhopal from Chhatarpur, where he will lay the groundwork for a cancer hospital at Bageshwar Dham.
Afterward, he will return to Bhopal and will stay overnight at Raj Bhavan. The following morning, he is set to inaugurate the Global Investors Summit (GIS).
Since taking office in 2014, PM Modi has made numerous visits to Madhya Pradesh.
On the morning of February 24, the Prime Minister will officially launch the GIS before departing for Delhi.
Home Minister Amit Shah is scheduled to attend the closing ceremony of this significant business event on February 25.
Preparations for GIS-2025 are nearing completion, with the list of attendees being finalized, as stated by the state government.
Entrepreneurs from over 60 countries have received invitations to participate.
The summit is expected to host 13 ambassadors, six high commissioners, and several consul generals from key nations.
According to a statement, "The diplomatic delegation at GIS-2025 will include consul generals from Germany, Japan, Switzerland, and Malaysia, along with senior representatives from the United Kingdom, Poland, Netherlands, and Canada."
Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has directed officials to extend special treatment to all investors attending the GIS and to welcome them with traditional Indian hospitality.
He emphasized that to create a memorable experience over these two days, the culture of Madhya Pradesh, including local art, cuisine, and hospitality, should be prominently showcased to the investors.
Officials indicated that participants from more than 60 countries would be present at the GIS, including 10 ambassadors, eight high commissioners, and seven consul generals.
A total of 133 international delegates, comprising top industrialists and CEOs, are expected to attend. The Chief Minister's Office reported that over 31,659 registrations have been logged for the GIS, with more than 18,736 participants confirming their attendance.
