New Delhi, Jan 27 (NationPress) Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella expressed his excitement over the strengthening ties between India and the US on Monday.

While addressing the 76th Republic Day celebration in Seattle, Nadella highlighted that the relationship is robust due to the shared democratic values upheld by both nations. This event was hosted by the Indian Consulate in Seattle.

“As we look forward, I am indeed very excited to witness the continued growth of the bonds between our two nations, thanks to the community here and the shared principles of our democratic constitutions,” Nadella stated.

He added, “Ultimately, elected officials must serve their constituents, and it’s a privilege for us to develop technology that aids these leaders in fulfilling their electoral promises, creating a beneficial cycle of democracy.”

The Microsoft CEO expressed his hope that both countries can serve as role models, prioritizing their respective best interests, which would in turn create a framework for the world to emulate, fostering a better global community.

The tech conglomerate also committed to training and skilling 10 million individuals in AI by 2030. So far, they have empowered 2.4 million Indians, including civil servants, students, and individuals with disabilities, with AI capabilities.
