The state secured two gold medals, while Maharashtra took the lead in the overall medal tally with a total of six medals, which included one silver and four bronze.

In the women’s 45kg category, Sufna Jasmin from Kerala impressed everyone with her strength, winning gold with a total lift of 159 kg. She succeeded with 72 kg in Snatch and 87 kg in Clean & Jerk, even though she was unsuccessful in two attempts at 93 kg. Dipali Gursale from Maharashtra took home the silver with 151 kg (comprising 69 kg Snatch, 82 kg Clean & Jerk), while Rani Nayak of Madhya Pradesh secured bronze with 146 kg.
