Chennai, Feb 1 (NationPress) Bollywood actor Aamir Khan has commended young actor Naga Chaitanya, who takes on the lead role in director Chandoo Mondeti’s upcoming film ‘Thandel’, describing him as a wonderful person to spend time with.
During a recent trailer launch event, Aamir Khan attended and shared insights about Naga Chaitanya’s commitment to his profession.
He expressed admiration for Naga Chaitanya and discussed their rapport while working on ‘Thandel’.
“He’s the perfect co-star to have. He’s totally engaged, a true team player. We had such a fantastic experience collaborating. He’s always ready for every shot, never misses a beat, and is a remarkable human being to spend time with. We couldn’t have wished for anything better. Working with him was an incredible experience that really brought us closer,” said Aamir Khan.
The newly released trailer of ‘Thandel’ offers a glimpse into its thrilling and gritty narrative. This upcoming love-action-drama film is inspired by a real-life event involving 20 fishermen from Srikakulam district in Andhra Pradesh, who accidentally entered international waters during a storm and were subsequently captured by Pakistani forces.
The film also includes a romantic subplot. While Naga and Sai lead the cast as the main characters, Sundip R Ved plays the antagonist.
'Thandel' features a talented crew, including National Award-winning composer Devi Sri Prasad for the music, Shamdat for cinematography, and National Award winner Naveen Nooli as editor. The art department is headed by Srinagendra Tangala. Directed by Chandoo Mondeti, 'Thandel' is produced by Bunny Vasu under the Geetha Arts banner, with Allu Aravind presenting it.
