Chennai, Jan 24 (NationPress) Director Magizh Thirumeni, who is helming the highly anticipated film 'Vidaa Muyarchi' starring Ajith Kumar, has revealed that the actor, currently competing in international racing tournaments, expressed his desire to finalize all his film obligations before returning to the racing scene. He emphasized that many individuals, particularly his producers who have invested significantly in his films, rely on him.
In a recent interview, Magizh Thirumeni shared, “A few weeks prior to his racing commitments, we were in the process of concluding the film. Ajith had been attending practice sessions, during which he shared videos of his laps. He encountered two accidents during practice, and watching the footage made our hearts race. The first incident was a substantial crash, followed by another.”
Magizh fondly recounted Ajith's remarks post-accident, stating, “He said, ‘Magizh, when I go to participate in this race, anything can happen.’” The director made sure the audience grasped the weight of Ajith's words.
Ajith continued, “I need to complete all my film commitments because many depend on me. There are two producers who have made significant investments in my films. The dedication of numerous individuals working on my projects hinges on my actions.”
Magizh recalled Ajith’s determination: “When I return to the racing circuit and press that accelerator, it has to be at 100 percent. A 90 percent effort would mean I am not honoring the race. I refuse to play it safe, thinking I have two films left to finish.”
Even now, Magizh admits that Ajith's words give him chills.
Director Magizh Thirumeni’s 'Vidaa Muyarchi' is set to premiere on February 6, featuring an ensemble cast including Trisha, Aarav, Arjun Sarja, Regina Cassandra, Nikhil Nair, Dasarathi, and Ganesh.
