Los Angeles, Feb 5 (NationPress) Hollywood power couple Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds shared a cheerful selfie while their ongoing legal dispute with actor Justin Baldoni continues. The “Gossip Girl” alum beamed in a picture posted by her husband, the “Deadpool” star, on his Instagram Story, as reported by pagesix.com.

In the snapshot, the couple gazes into the camera, both sporting bright smiles.

A source informed people.com that Lively is prioritizing family life and being present with her kids amidst the unfolding legal situation with Baldoni.

“Blake is surprisingly composed and is trying to concentrate on her family. She maintains regular communication with her team. She views the entire lawsuit scenario as a temporary hurdle, but it won't distract her from her primary focus, which is her children,” an insider shared with the outlet.

Lively and Reynolds, who have been wed since 2012, are parents to daughters James (10), Inez (8), and Betty (5), along with son Olin (1).

The actress's legal troubles began in December 2024 when she lodged a sexual harassment complaint against Baldoni, alleging misconduct during the filming of “It Ends With Us.”

In her extensive complaint, the 37-year-old actress claimed Baldoni made her feel “uncomfortable” on set and accused him of initiating a smear campaign to damage her reputation should she speak out.

Lively subsequently filed a formal lawsuit against Baldoni in New York Federal Court on December 31, 2024, citing allegations of sexual harassment, retaliation, breach of contract, emotional distress, invasion of privacy, and lost wages.

In response, Baldoni filed a shocking $400 million defamation and extortion lawsuit against Lively, along with Reynolds and publicist Leslie Sloane.

Additionally, Lively pursued a $250 million libel suit against the New York Times after the publication covered her sexual harassment claims in an article titled, “‘We Can Bury Anyone’: Inside a Hollywood Smear Machine.”

Baldoni and two of his producers contended that the outlet “cherry-picked and altered communications” while omitting “necessary context.”

Since then, Baldoni has vigorously sought to demonstrate his innocence by releasing unedited footage from the film and establishing a website that details his lawsuit, an alleged timeline, and purported messages exchanged between him and Lively.

The former co-stars’ attorneys convened in court for the first time during a pre-trial conference on Monday, where the judge advised both sides to refrain from discussing the lawsuits publicly. They currently have a trial date set for March 2026 in New York City.
