New Delhi, Feb 5 (NationPress) A wave of panic swept through parents, teachers, and students as four private educational institutions in Noida, Uttar Pradesh received alarming bomb threats on Wednesday.

The schools affected were Step by Step School, The Heritage School, Gyanshree School, and Mayur School, with the threats arriving via email, prompting immediate alerts to district administration and law enforcement agencies.

Upon receiving the notifications, a team from the UP Police, along with the Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS), fire services, and a dog unit, rushed to conduct comprehensive searches of the facilities.

Authorities assured that there was no need for concern as investigations revealed that all schools were operating under normal conditions, with classes resuming in many.

The police urged the community to disregard rumors and exercise patience during the investigation.

As a precaution, law enforcement and bomb squad teams arrived swiftly at the scene.

The cyber team is currently examining the email to uncover the motives behind the threats, as stated by police officials.

The cyber cell is actively working to track down the individuals responsible for sending such messages.

Previously, similar threatening emails were sent to various schools in Delhi, Noida, and other areas within the NCR, leading to students being sent home.

In November of the previous year, the Delhi High Court mandated that the government formulate a detailed action plan, including a comprehensive Standard Operating Procedure (SOP), for managing bomb threats and emergencies.

The court emphasized that while a perfect system to prevent such threats is unrealistic, it is crucial for authorities to prepare for the evolving challenges in the digital landscape, where anonymity empowers wrongdoers.
