“This budget is not merely a roadmap for ‘Viksit Bharat’ (Developed India) but also for ‘Viksit Bihar’ (Developed Bihar),” he stated.

Discussing the Budget delivered by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman in the Lok Sabha, Hussain highlighted that the substantial allocations for Bihar reaffirmed PM Modi’s commitment to the state’s advancement.

“This budget demonstrates once more that PM Modi genuinely cares for Bihar and its residents. His vision is to see Bihar prosper and realize the aspirations of its citizens,” he remarked.

Hussain also commended Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman for donning a Mithila painting saree, presented by Padma Shri awardee Dulari Devi, during the Budget announcement.

He remarked: “This gesture exemplifies the Finance Minister’s profound respect for Bihar’s rich culture and its populace.”

Labeling the Budget 2025-26 as a comprehensive plan for Bihar’s growth, Hussain expressed deep gratitude to PM Modi and FM Sitharaman for prioritizing the state’s requirements.

Union Minister Rajiv Ranjan Singh, also known as Lalan Singh, criticized Tejashwi Yadav for branding the Union Budget 2025-26 as “disappointing and hollow.”

Singh dismissed Yadav’s comments as unfounded, asserting that the budget introduces numerous new and transformative initiatives for Bihar.

In response to Tejashwi Yadav’s assertion that the Budget lacks “anything new,” Lalan Singh countered: “Is the expansion of Patna and Bihta airports an outdated announcement? Are the new Greenfield airports, the National Food Processing Institute, and the creation of a Makhana Board previous announcements? Tejashwi Yadav is clueless about development.”

“He lacks understanding about governance. His parents are infamous for ‘Jungle Raj’ in Bihar, and he shows no interest in development,” he added.

Singh stressed that the Union Budget 2025-26 establishes the groundwork for a thriving and developed Bihar, with significant investments in infrastructure, agriculture, education, and industry.
