New Delhi, Feb 23 (NationPress) In pursuit of fostering new avenues for cooperation and bolstering the strategic partnership, Indian Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi has commenced an official journey to France, taking place from February 24 to 27, as indicated in an official statement released on Sunday.

During his visit, Gen Dwivedi will interact with senior French military officials at Les Invalides in Paris. The day will kick off with a Guard of Honour, followed by discussions with his French counterpart, CEMAT (Chef d'Etat-Major de l'Armee de Terre) General Pierre Schill, aimed at enhancing military ties between the two countries.

The itinerary for the Indian Army chief includes a visit to the Ecole Militaire, a renowned Military School and Institution Complex in Paris, where he will receive a briefing on Future Combat Command (CCF).

Furthermore, General Dwivedi will be informed at the Technical Section of the French Army (STAT) and will visit the Battle Lab Terre located in Versailles.
