Mumbai, Feb 2 (NationPress) Actor Ritik Ghanshani recently starred in Akshay Kumar's action-packed film Sky Force, where he portrayed the character of Prakash ‘Panther’ Rajput. To accurately depict his role, the actor underwent a significant physical transformation.
Director Abhishek Anil Kapur advised Ritik to gain 10 kgs to fit his character's requirements. Accepting the challenge, he successfully added the weight in just 20 days with the assistance of a personal trainer.
Following Sky Force, Ritik will take on the lead role in Rajshri Productions’ upcoming web series Bada Naam Karenge. To prepare for this new role, he needed to shed the 10 kgs he had gained for Sky Force.
Reflecting on his transformation experience, Ritik shared, “For the role I had to put on 10 kgs within 20 days. After Sky Force, I had another 20 days to lose those 10 kgs. As an actor, I aim to push my limits to truly embody every character I portray.”
Discussing his character in Bada Naam Karenge, Ritik expressed, “Growing up, I always aspired to be like Prem from Vivah. Sooraj sir popularized green flags long before they became trendy! When I received the chance to portray such a character, I was overjoyed. I have always desired to be a household name, cherished by dadis and aunties, and now I finally have that chance.”
